 PHIL WADDELL - BOST (HONS)

Phil graduated from the College of Osteopaths in 2013 and began his Osteopathic journey practicing in Birmingham, moving, with his family to Devon in 2014, where he joined Practices in Plympton, Torbay and Totnes.

Prior to undertaking his Osteopathic training Phil served as an officer in the British Army, spending time in all corners (of all continents) of the world. Phil has a structural and logical approach to the diagnosis and treatment plans for his patients. After years of pushing his own body through its limits Phil is passionate about helping others return to a level of lifestyle activity that allows them to thrive to the best of their abilities and wishes…..across the board from returning to everyday household tasks with confidence, restarting appropriate exercise activity, returning to the workplace after injury, competing in sports. Phil’s patients respond well to his down to earth and friendly approach to diagnosis and treatment and dedication to the requirements of their individual recovery journey.

Outside of Clinic, Phil is an avid, but relatively slow cyclist, enjoying competing in as many local events as he can, such as The Dartmoor Classic and is very pleased that he completed a solo JohnO’Groats to Lands End ride in 2021. Phil is actively involved as a volunteer International Responder for the UK Charity REACT Disaster Response.

Ive been seeing Phil for osteopathic treatment and can’t recommend him highly enough. He strikes a great balance giving gentle soft tissue massage or firmer manipulation according to my body’s needs and how it is responding. Whether it’s easing tension or working deeper Phil’s skill and intuition are exemplary and I always leave feeling better both physically and mentally. Phil has a calm, professional and kind demeanour and makes you feel at ease straight away. Highly recommended for anyone who needs thoughtful and effective care.
